Child’s Closet Refresh

Our client’s 7-month-old’s room had a spacious closet with great shelving, but it had become a catch-all. Clothes were hard to find, with outfits often buried and unorganized. As a result, our client had duplicate or similar items, because she couldn’t easily see what she already owned. Adding to the challenge, she has a 5-year-old daughter and wanted to save hand-me-downs, which were scattered across other closets and basement storage.

Properly Placed completed a full edit of all existing and future clothing, removing duplicates and pieces our client no longer loved. We consolidated more than four large bins into streamlined, accessible baskets organized by size and season—transforming the closet into a functional, easy-to-maintain system.

The client chose to use her existing bins and temporary labels, with Properly Placed providing ideas for cohesive, more permanent solutions she could gradually invest in overtime.
